Need a website ? Confused about a ? CMS vs non CMS site.

Websites are build in HTML which is the language that makes your content appear , CSC which is used to style your content and PHP that makes certain things work like an application you might have ( I will do a article about all this later)

But dont stress too much , CMS which stands for Content Management System is really just a clever and very neat way to file or build your website. Its basically a application that allows you to easily store, maintain, modify, edit and publish content on a website.

Think of it as a visual central control system to put all the parts together and manage them without having to go through layers and layers of html, cms and php code.

Back in the day creating websites with code alone was extremely tiresome and mundane even if the sites back then was a lot more simpler , a CMS makes all this a lot more fun and at the same time a lot more secure as well.

Which brings us back to WordPress , Statistics shows that WordPress has a content management system market share of 61.0%.

Thats Huge especially if you consider that the next best statis Joomla at 7.9% !! Having worked on both systems its my opinion that WordPress is just so much more better and flexible especially for a developer ,There are also a lot more support and plugins out there for WordPress Developers – think of it as VHS vs Betamax !! (the kids of the 80’s will understand that better lol)

So it goes with saying , if you want a website built on a content management system then I would highly recomend using WordPress as that CMS , but dont take my word for it , take the word of the 61% of satisfied working websites out there !!
